With the onset of the Corona Virus COVID-19 pandemic, hospitals in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq quickly run out of oxygen. To fill up the sudden shortage, Hend Steel donated a total of 250 tons of liquid oxygen to Ministry of Health from August 01, 2020 to September 20, 2020.

This free oxygen from Hend Steel is a way of helping the COVID-19 patients with their medical needs and showing all citizens of Erbil that we can make our part and contribution as we fight our battle against the worldwide pandemic.

“We would like to thank Hend Steel for this Oxygen donation as this will surely help save lives during this pandemic,” Dr. Dlovan Muhammed Fatih Jelal from the General Directorate of Health in Erbil said.
