F&F Steel is an iron and steel investment of Iraqi investors BARZ GROUP & HEND STEEL CO. in Arbil/ Iraq,
in order to manufacture construction reinforcing steel bars. F&F Steel factory covers 400,000 m2, with 42.000 m2 of indoor space. The factory includes steel melting and rolling mill plants with most updated technologies, as well as oxygen, argon and nitrogen production plants, dust collection plant for cleaning environment and cooling water preparation facilities.

we apply chemical and mechanical tests from the beginning to the final stage of the
production. Quality control laboratories have most modern certified equipment for
product quality assurance.
The Standards: Our equipments and instruments follow the international standard
organization as showed below:
TS, DIN, ASTM, BS, AFNOR, JIS, ISO 9001 And ISO 18001 (Safety).
Steel plant investment had started installing seven years ago at Industrial zone of Arbil using most updated following steel production technologies are chosen for reinforcing bars production from raw material steel scrap.
HEND STEEL (F&F STEEL) operates at continuous hot rolling
mill with daily 1.600 ton reinforcing bars production capacity.
High quality construction reinforcing steel bars are produced with controlled cooling process; which enables an increase in the weld ability of the material in high tensile strength.
Production range is (10, 12, 16, 20, 25 and 32mm) Reinforcing bars.
The production capacity is 600.000 ton/year of steel billet with updated electrical steel melting technology. Steel Melting plant includes: one Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), One Ladle Furnace (LF) and Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) for billet production.
HEND STEEL (F&F STEEL) which is the first steel factory in Iraq converts scrap iron to crude steel by melting in Electrical Arc furnace at 1700 C with to get highest steel quality. Plant produces, through a three production lines high speed continuous casting machine, steel billets with the dimension of 130x130 mm.x12 m. length
